SPAIN, Jan. 6, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 20: Two wins in a row for Getafe. After their 3-1 win against Valladolid on December 17, Los Azulones continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 1-0 victory over Almeria this Friday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Molina Jorge with just 3 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Getafe CF climbed to second place with 27 points from 16 games, 3 points behind Levante UD, which has a game in hand.
