Segunda division (Week 27) : Tenerife defeats Mallorca 4-1
SPAIN, Feb. 25, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 27: Two wins in a row for Tenerife. After their 1-0 win against Almeria on February 18, Los Chicharreros continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 4-1 victory over Mallorca this Saturday.
Niguez Aaron scored dual goals
Mallorca had started off well by taking the lead in the 6th minute with a goal by Dominguez Juan. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Los Chicharreros nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring four times in the second period (Raillo Antonio '48 own, Niguez Aaron '53, '75 on penalty and Ndiaye Amath '61).
CD Tenerife climbed to third place with 37 points from 22 games, 4 points behind Girona FC.
