SPAIN, Feb. 25, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 27: Two wins in a row for Girona. After their 1-0 win against Mallorca on February 18, the Blanquivermells continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-0 victory over Mirandés this Saturday.
Mirandés made Girona doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Sandaza Fran ('84) and Longo Samuele ('87 on penalty).
Girona FC remains in second place with 41 points from 22 games, 7 points behind Levante UD.
