Segunda division (Week 30) : Elche beats Gimnastic 3-1
SPAIN, Mar. 17, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 30: After their 0-0 draw against Alcorcon on March 10, Los Franjiverdes bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Gimnastic de Tarragona this Friday.
Elche dominated the first half thanks to goals from Ruiz Fabian ('15), Djetei Mohammed ('25 own) and Nino Juan ('32). Leading 3-0 at the break, Los Franjiverdes further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
Elche CF climbed to fifth place with 34 points from 25 games, 2 points behind Real Oviedo, which has two games in hand.
