Segunda division (Week 5) : Valladolid beats Granada 2-1
SPAIN, Sep. 16, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 5: After their 4-4 draw against Cultural Leonesa on September 10, Los Pucelanos bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Granada this Saturday.
Valladolid dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Mata Jaime in the 10th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Pucelanos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Gianniotas Giannis with just 10 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Real Valladolid climbed to second place with 10 points from 5 games, tie on points with Cadiz FC, which has a game in hand.
