Segunda division (Week 7) : Granada defeats Alcorcon 2-1
SPAIN, Oct. 1, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 7: Two wins in a row for Granada. After their 3-1 win against Cordoba on September 23, Los Nazaríes continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-1 victory over Alcorcon this Sunday.
Pena Alvaro opened the score in the 34th minute on penalty, before seeing Granada catch up in the 38th minute thanks to Pedro Sanchez. 1-1 at half time. Los Nazaríes eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Saunier Matthieu in the 55th minute.
Granada CF climbed to 8th place with 10 points from 7 games, tie on points with CD Tenerife, which has a game in hand.
