Segunda division (Week 7) : Valladolid defeats Cordoba 4-1
SPAIN, Sep. 30, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 7: After losing 1-0 to Huesca on September 24, Los Pucelanos bounced back with a 4-1 victory over Cordoba this Saturday.
Valladolid dominated the first half thanks to goals from Salvador Iban ('14), Plano Oscar ('23) and Mata Jaime ('36). Leading 3-0 at the break, Los Pucelanos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Luismi Sanchez in the 72nd minute.
Real Valladolid climbed to first place with 13 points from 7 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Real Sporting de Gijon, which has a game in hand.
