SPAIN, Aug. 25, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 2: After losing 1-2 to Cadiz on August 19, Los Califas bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Albacete this Friday.
Cordoba dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Ramos Edu in the 22nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Califas further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Galan Javi '59 and Jovanovic Sasa '90).
Cordoba CF climbed to first place with 3 points from 2 games, tie on points with runner-up Lorca FC, which has a game in hand.
