Segunda division (Week 2) : Rayo and Numancia play to a 2-2 draw
SPAIN, Aug. 26, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 2: The match between actual leader Rayo Vallecano and Numancia ended in a frustrating 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Rayo Vallecano players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Trejo Oscar ('19 and '21/penalty. However, even though they were leading 2-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Numancia with goals by Milla Pere ('49) and Diamanka Pape ('63).
Rayo Vallecano de Madrid climbed to first place with 4 points from 2 games, tie on points with runner-up CD Numancia.
