Segunda division (Week 9) : Valladolid beats Alcorcon 4-0
SPAIN, Oct. 12, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 9: After losing 4-1 to Rayo Vallecano on October 8, Los Pucelanos returned to winning ways with a 4-0 victory over Alcorcon this Thursday.
Mata Jaime scored dual goals
Valladolid dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Mata Jaime in the 41st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Pucelanos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Michel Miguel '60, Mata Jaime '87 and Gianniotas Giannis '90).
Real Valladolid climbed to third place with 16 points from 9 games, only one point behind CD Numancia.
