Segunda division (Week 11) : Alcorcon beats Gimnastic 3-0
SPAIN, Oct. 22, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 11: After five straigth defeats, Los Alfareros returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Gimnastic de Tarragona this Sunday.
Alcorcon dominated the first half thanks to goals from Pena Alvaro ('21) and Dorca Albert ('45). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Alfareros further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Dumitru Nicolao in the 62nd minute.
AD Alcorcon climbed to 17th place with 12 points from 11 games, tie on points with Reus Deportiu FC, which has a game in hand.
