Segunda division (Week 12) : Alcorcon beats Oviedo 2-0
SPAIN, Oct. 29, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 12: Two wins in a row for Alcorcon. After their 0-3 win against Gimnastic de Tarragona on October 22, Los Alfareros continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-0 victory over Real Oviedo this Sunday.
Alcorcon dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Gimenez Alvaro in the 41st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Alfareros further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Laureano Ruiz in the 60th minute.
AD Alcorcon climbed to 13rd place with 15 points from 12 games, tie on points with Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa.
