Segunda division (Week 16) : Tenerife hold Rayo to 2-2
SPAIN, Nov. 24, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 16: The match between Tenerife and Rayo Vallecano ended in a 2-2 draw on Friday.
Rayo Vallecano players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Aguirre Diego in the 7th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Comesana Santi goal ('53) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Tenerife with dual goals from Longo Samuele ('51 and '86.
Rayo Vallecano de Madrid climbed to fourth place with 25 points from 16 games, tie on points with CA Osasuna, which has a game in hand.
