Segunda division (Week 17) : Numancia defeats Valladolid 3-2
SPAIN, Dec. 3, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 17: After losing 1-2 to Gimnastic de Tarragona on November 25 and 3-1 to Real Oviedo on November 25, Los Numantinos returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Valladolid this Sunday.
Valladolid had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Mata Jaime ('12, '17). Trailing 2-0 at half time, Los Numantinos nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Nacho Ignacio '60, Gutierrez Carlos '71 and Guillermo Hierro '85).
CD Numancia climbed to fourth place with 28 points from 17 games, tie on points with Rayo Vallecano de Madrid.
