Serie A (Week 19) : Torino defeats Cesena 3-2
ITALY, Jan. 18, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 19: After their 0-0 draw against Chievo on January 10 and 1-1 draw against AC Milan on January 10, Il Toro returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Cesena this Sunday.
Torino dominated the first half thanks to goals from Benassi ('20) and Quagliarella ('22). Leading 2-1 at the break, Il Toro further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Lopez with just 3 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Torino FC climbed to 13rd place with 22 points from 19 games, 2 points behind Udinese.
