Serie A (Week 19) : Fiorentina beats Chievo 2-1
ITALY, Jan. 18, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 19: Two wins in a row for Fiorentina. After their 4-3 win against Palermo on January 11, the Viola continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 2-1 victory over Chievo this Sunday.
Fiorentina dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Spanish midfielder Rodriguez in the 35th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Viola further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Babacar in stoppage time.
ACF Fiorentina remains in 6th place with 30 points from 19 games, one point behind Lazio.
