Serie A (Week 6) : Lazio beats Verona 2-1
ITALY, Sep. 27, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 6: Two wins in a row for Lazio. After their 2-0 win against Genoa on September 23, the Biancocelesti continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 2-1 victory over Hellas Verona this Sunday.
Hellas Verona had started off well by taking the lead in the 33rd minute with a goal by Helander Filip. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Biancocelesti nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Biglia '63 on penalty and Parolo '86).
Lazio climbed to fifth place with 12 points from 6 games, tie on points with US Sassuolo Calcio.
