Serie A (Week 6) : Torino defeats Palermo 2-1

ITALY, Sep. 27, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 6: After losing 1-0 to Chievo on September 23, Il Toro bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Palermo this Sunday.

Torino dominated the first half as a result of the unfortunate own goal scored by Costa Rican defender Giancarlo González in the 44th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Il Toro further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Benassi in the 48th minute.

Torino FC climbed to second place with 13 points from 6 games, 2 points behind Inter Milan, which has a game in hand.
