Serie A (Week 7) : Fiorentina beats Atalanta 3-0
ITALY, Oct. 4, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 7: Five wins in a row for Fiorentina. After their success against Genoa, Carpi, Bologna and Inter Milan, the Viola continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 3-0 victory over Atalanta this Sunday.
Fiorentina dominated the first half thanks to goals from Iličić ('6 on penalty) and Valero ('34). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Viola further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Verdu Joan seconds before the end of regulation.
ACF Fiorentina remains in first place with 18 points from 7 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Inter Milan.
