ITALY, Oct. 24, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 9: After losing 3-1 to AS Roma on October 17, the Azzurri returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Genoa this Saturday.
Empoli dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Krunic Rade in the 44th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Azzurri further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Zieliński in the 57th minute.
Empoli FC climbed to 12nd place with 10 points from 9 games, tie on points with Palermo, which has a game in hand.
