ITALY, Oct. 25, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 9: After losing 2-0 to Frosinone on October 18, the Blucerchiati returned to winning ways with a 4-1 victory over Hellas Verona this Sunday.
Sampdoria dominated the first half thanks to goals from Muriel Luis ('11), Zukanović ('28) and Soriano ('45). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Blucerchiati further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Eder Martins in the 54th minute.
UC Sampdoria climbed to 7th place with 14 points from 9 games, only one point behind Lazio, which has a game in hand.
