Serie A (Week 10) : Fiorentina beats Verona 2-0
ITALY, Oct. 28, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 10: After losing 2-1 to Napoli on October 25 and 1-2 to AS Roma on October 25, the Viola returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Hellas Verona this Wednesday.
Fiorentina dominated the first half as a result of the unfortunate own goal scored by Mexican defender Rafael Márquez in the 25th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Viola further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Kalinic Nikola in the 57th minute.
ACF Fiorentina remains in third place with 21 points from 10 games, tie on points with Napoli.
