Serie A (Week 10) : Napoli beats Palermo 2-0
ITALY, Oct. 28, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 10: Five wins in a row for Napoli. After their success against Juventus, AC Milan, Fiorentina and Chievo, the Partenopei continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 2-0 victory over Palermo this Wednesday.
Napoli dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Argentine forward Gonzalo Higuaín in the 39th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Partenopei further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Mertens with just 10 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Napoli remains in second place with 21 points from 10 games, 2 points behind AS Roma.
