Serie A (Week 12) : Fiorentina beats Samp 2-0
ITALY, Nov. 8, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 12: Three wins in a row for Fiorentina. After their success against Hellas Verona and Frosinone, the Viola continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 2-0 victory over Sampdoria this Sunday.
Fiorentina dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Slovenian midfielder Josip Iličić in the 10th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Viola further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Kalinic Nikola in the 58th minute.
ACF Fiorentina remains in first place with 27 points from 12 games, tie on points with runner-up Inter Milan.
