Serie A (Week 36) : Napoli defeats Atalanta 2-1
ITALY, May. 2, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 36: After losing 1-0 to AS Roma on April 25, the Partenopei returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Atalanta this Monday.
Gonzalo Higuaín scored dual goals
Napoli dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Argentine forward Gonzalo Higuaín in the 10th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Partenopei further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Higuaín in the 77th minute.
Napoli remains in second place with 76 points from 36 games, 12 points behind Juventus.
