Serie B (Week 5) : Carpi beats Spezia 2-1
ITALY, Sep. 22, 2014 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 5: After their 1-1 draw against Crotone on September 19 and 2-2 draw against Trapani on September 19, the Biancorossi returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Spezia this Monday.
Carpi dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Bianco in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Biancorossi further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Concas in the 60th minute.
Carpi FC 1909 climbed to second place with 9 points from 5 games, only one point behind AC Perugia, which has a game in hand.
