Serie B (Week 7) : Ternana and Avellino tied at 2-2
ITALY, Oct. 6, 2014 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 7: Avellino was held to a 2-2 draw by Ternana on Monday.
Ternana players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Avenatti in the 45th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Viola goal ('57) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Avellino with dual goals from Castaldo ('48 and '65/penalty.
AS Avellino 1912 are down in fourth place with 12 points from 7 games, tie on points with Carpi FC 1909.
