Serie B (Week 27) : Latina defeats Ternana 2-0
ITALY, Feb. 21, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 27: Two wins in a row for Latina. After their 2-0 win against Pescara on February 14, Latina continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 2-0 victory over Ternana this Saturday.
Latina dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Alhassan in the 12th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Latina players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Valiani with just 3 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Ternana Calcio are down in 10th place with 35 points from 27 games, one point behind AC Perugia.
