Serie B (Week 27) : Perugia beats Brescia 2-1
ITALY, Feb. 21, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 27: Two wins in a row for Perugia. After their 2-0 win against Modena on February 13, the Grifoni continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 2-1 victory over Brescia this Saturday.
Brescia had started off well by taking the lead in the 39th minute with a goal by Tonucci. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Grifoni nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Ardemagni '47 and Falcinelli '76).
AC Perugia climbed to 9th place with 36 points from 27 games, only one point behind Virtus Lanciano, which has a game in hand.
