Serie B (Week 21) : Perugia defeats Cittadella 3-1
ITALY, Dec. 28, 2014 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 21: After losing 4-0 to Carpi on December 24, the Grifoni returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Cittadella this Sunday.
Perugia dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Falcinelli in the 37th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Grifoni further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Fossati '48 and Verre '90).
AC Perugia climbed to 10th place with 29 points from 21 games, only one point behind Trapani Calcio.
