ITALY, Dec. 28, 2014 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 21: After losing 2-0 to Pescara on December 24, the Leopardi bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Ternana this Sunday.
Varese dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Luoni in the 16th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Leopardi further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Pereira in the 78th minute.
AS Varese climbed to 14th place with 25 points from 21 games, tie on points with Pescara Calcio, which has a game in hand.
