ITALY, Dec. 28, 2014 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 21: Two wins in a row for Carpi. After their 4-0 win against Perugia on December 24, the Biancorossi continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 2-0 victory over Catania this Sunday.
Catania made Carpi doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Di Gaudio ('57) and Inglese ('81).
Carpi FC 1909 remains in first place with 43 points from 21 games, a 9-point lead over runner-up Frosinone Calcio.
