Serie B (Week 22) : Lanciano beats Catania 3-0
ITALY, Jan. 17, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 22: After losing 1-2 to Bologna on December 28, the Frentani bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Catania this Saturday.
Virtus Lanciano dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Monachello in the 43rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Frentani further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Gatto '54 and Grossi '70).
Virtus Lanciano climbed to fifth place with 33 points from 22 games, only one point behind Spezia Calcio.
