ITALY, Oct. 12, 2014 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 8: Two wins in a row for Virtus Lanciano. After their 2-3 win against Cittadella on October 4, the Frentani continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 4-0 victory over Vicenza this Sunday.
Thiam scored dual goals
Virtus Lanciano dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Piccolo in the 44th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Frentani further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Thiam '55, '82 and Monachello '86).
Virtus Lanciano climbed to 6th place with 13 points from 8 games, tie on points with FC Pro Vercelli 1892.
