ITALY, Oct. 17, 2014 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 9: After losing 4-0 to Virtus Lanciano on October 12, the Biancorossi bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Pescara this Friday.
Vicenza dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Cocco in the 37th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Biancorossi further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Di Gennaro on penalty in the 74th minute.
Vicenza Calcio climbed to 14th place with 10 points from 9 games, tie on points with Spezia Calcio, which has a game in hand.
