ITALY, Jan. 23, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 23: After three straigth defeats, Catania returned to winning ways with a 4-0 victory over Pro Vercelli this Friday.
Calaio scored dual goals
Catania dominated the first half thanks to goals from Calaio ('6, '16 on penalty) and Rosina ('33). Leading 3-0 at the break, Catania players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Maniero in the 58th minute.
FC Pro Vercelli 1892 remains in 9th place with 31 points from 23 games, tie on points with Pescara Calcio, which has a game in hand.
