ITALY, Jan. 31, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 24: Two wins in a row for Catania. After their 4-0 win against Pro Vercelli on January 23, Catania continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 2-0 victory over Perugia this Saturday.
Catania dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Maniero in the 22nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Catania players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Calaio in the 51st minute.
AC Perugia are down in 13rd place with 30 points from 24 games, tie on points with Modena FC.
