Serie B (Week 20) : Carpi beats Perugia 4-0
ITALY, Dec. 24, 2014 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 20: After their 1-1 draw against Virtus Lanciano on December 19, the Biancorossi returned to winning ways with a 4-0 victory over Perugia this Wednesday.
Carpi dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Pasciuti in the 27th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Biancorossi further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Mbakogu '52, Struna '58 and Inglese '90).
Carpi FC 1909 remains in first place with 40 points from 20 games, a 9-point lead over runner-up Frosinone Calcio.
