Serie B (Week 26) : Perugia beats Modena 2-0
ITALY, Feb. 13, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 26: After losing 2-0 to Catania on February 7 and 3-1 to Vicenza on February 7, the Grifoni returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Modena this Friday.
Perugia dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Verre in the 43rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Grifoni further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Fazzi in the 78th minute.
AC Perugia climbed to 11st place with 33 points from 26 games, tie on points with Pescara Calcio, which has a game in hand.
