Serie B (Week 41) : Ternana defeats Modena 2-1
ITALY, May. 16, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 41: After losing 0-1 to Pro Vercelli on May 9, the Rossoverdi bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Modena this Saturday.
Meccariello opened the score in the 31st minute with an own goal, before seeing Ternana catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Fazio. 1-1 at half time. The Rossoverdi eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Avenatti in the 77th minute.
Ternana Calcio climbed to 16th place with 48 points from 41 games, tie on points with Gli Elefanti.
