Serie B (Week 41) : Varese beats Pescara 2-1
ITALY, May. 16, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 41: After losing 1-2 to Latina on May 10 and 1-0 to Crotone on May 10, the Leopardi returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Pescara this Saturday.
Varese dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Jakimovski in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Leopardi further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Forte in stoppage time.
Pescara Calcio are down in 9th place with 58 points from 41 games, one point behind AS Avellino 1912.
