Serie B (Week 10) : Lanciano and Salernitana play out 2-2 draw
ITALY, Oct. 27, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 10: The match between Virtus Lanciano and Salernitana ended in a 2-2 draw on Tuesday.
Salernitana players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Coda Massimo ('6, '13) while Virtus Lanciano only scored once Piccolo Antonio ('26). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Virtus Lanciano with a saving goal from Piccolo Antonio on penalty in the 51st minute.
Virtus Lanciano climbed to 16th place with 10 points from 10 games, only one point behind Modena FC.
