Serie B (Week 11) : Cesena defeats Lanciano 2-0
ITALY, Oct. 31, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 11: Two wins in a row for Cesena. After their 3-1 win against Como on October 27, the Cavallucci Marini continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 2-0 victory over Virtus Lanciano this Saturday.
Cesena dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Perico Gabriele in the 27th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Cavallucci Marini further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Kessie Ammonito in the 75th minute.
AC Cesena climbed to first place with 23 points from 11 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up FC Crotone.
