Serie B (Week 15) : Perugia beats Avellino 2-1
ITALY, Nov. 28, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 15: Two wins in a row for Perugia. After their 4-0 win against Brescia on November 21, the Grifoni continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 2-1 victory over Avellino this Saturday.
Avellino had started off well by taking the lead in the 36th minute with a goal by Gavazzi Davide. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Grifoni nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Di Carmine Samuel '49 and Parigini Vittorio '65).
AC Perugia climbed to 8th place with 21 points from 15 games, 2 points behind Brescia Calcio.
