Serie B (Week 20) : Cagliari beats Salernitana 2-0
ITALY, Dec. 24, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 20: Two wins in a row for Cagliari. After their 2-1 win against Bari on December 19, the Rossoblu continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 2-0 victory over Salernitana this Thursday.
Cagliari dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Giannetti Niccolo in the 29th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Rossoblu further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Tello Andres with just 6 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Cagliari climbed to first place with 43 points from 20 games, one point ahead of runner-up FC Crotone.
