Serie B (Week 20) : Avellino beats Entella 2-0
ITALY, Dec. 22, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 20: Four wins in a row for Avellino. After their success against Pro Vercelli, Virtus Lanciano and Como, the Lupi continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 2-0 victory over Virtus Entella this Tuesday.
Avellino dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Trotta Marcello in the 4th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Lupi further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Castaldo Luigi with just 4 minutes remaining in regulation time.
AS Avellino 1912 climbed to 8th place with 28 points from 20 games, 3 points behind Pescara Calcio, which has a game in hand.
