Serie B (Week 21) : Avellino beats Cesena 2-1
ITALY, Dec. 27, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 21: Five wins in a row for Avellino. After their success against Pro Vercelli, Virtus Lanciano, Como and Virtus Entella, the Lupi continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 2-1 victory over Cesena this Sunday.
Cesena had started off well by taking the lead in the 13th minute with a goal by Djuric Milan. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Lupi nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Bastien Samuel '53 and Castaldo Luigi '63).
AC Cesena remains in 7th place with 32 points from 21 games, 3 points behind FC Bari 1908.
