Serie B (Week 27) : Entella beats Pro Vercelli 3-2
ITALY, Feb. 20, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 27: Two wins in a row for Virtus Entella. After their 4-0 win against Trapani on February 13, the Biancocelesti continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 3-2 victory over Pro Vercelli this Saturday.
Di Carmine Samuel scored dual goals
Pro Vercelli had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Scavone Manuel ('24) and Malonga Dominique ('26). Trailing 2-0 at half time, the Biancocelesti nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Di Carmine Samuel '54, '68 and Troiano Michele '66 on penalty).
Virtus Entella climbed to 7th place with 40 points from 27 games, only one point behind FC Bari 1908.
