Serie B (Week 31) : Avellino defeats Ascoli 4-3
ITALY, Mar. 12, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 31: After losing 1-0 to Brescia on March 5 and 0-1 to Spezia on March 5, the Lupi returned to winning ways with a 4-3 victory over Ascoli this Saturday.
Mokulu Tembe Benjamin scored dual goals
Ascoli had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Jankto Jakub ('24) and Cacia Daniele ('40, '43), while Avellino only scored twice Mokulu Tembe Benjamin ('11, '17). Trailing 3-2 at half time, the Lupi nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Insigne Roberto '63 and Castaldo Luigi '89 on penalty).
AS Avellino 1912 climbed to 10th place with 43 points from 31 games, 4 points behind FC Bari 1908.
