ITALY, Apr. 16, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 36: After their 2-2 draw against Brescia on April 11, the Grifoni returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Avellino this Saturday.
Perugia dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Aguirre Rodrigo in the 14th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Grifoni further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Belmonte Nicola in the 60th minute.
AC Perugia climbed to 10th place with 51 points from 36 games, 4 points behind AC Cesena.
